Final Swim of the Season
April 2, 2012

Four people turned out Sunday for the Libby Polar Bears' 23rd,
and final, swim of the season in Libby Creek. The weather was
tolerable with a water temperature of 40 degrees and an air
temperature in the high 40s under an intermittently sunny sky.

Libby Creek, as usual for this time of year, was running swift
and high due to recent rainfall and snowmelt.

Polar Bear Rick Klin, regular Steve Sonju, Matthew White and
first-timer Craig Allen turned out for the plunge. Regular
plunges resume the last Sunday in October.
