Libby Home Health Services now under Kalispell Regional Medical Center

St. John's Lutheran Hospital has been providing home health and hospice services to residents of Libby and the surrounding community for more than 20 years.
Recent changes in the way the federal government reimburses home health/hospice services for small rural critical-access hospitals, like St. John's, actually creates a financial disincentive, putting these programs at risk and prompted Libby's St. John's Hospital board of directors to make a needed change of ownership to Kalispell Regional Medical Center in order to continue to offer these services locally.
Home Options is the KRMC branch now providing these services. This week, April 1, 2012, Kalispell Regional Medical Center's Home Options expanded services to residents of Libby and surrounding communities - retaining the jobs of St. John's current home health and hospice employees. _____________________________
