Spring runoff is upon us and the Kootenai River was running
swift and muddy Wednesday after warmer temperatures and rain
started melting the snowpack in higher elevations. The
Fisher River always contributes an impressive amount of
sediment to the Kootenai, shown in the accompanying photos
from the Fisher to Troy. It's spring!
