Emergency Management to test Flower Creek Dam Warning System

Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), with coordination from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s 9-1-1 Dispatch Center, will be testing the Flower Creek Dam Warning System siren at 5:30pm Monday, April 2, 2012.

Libby residents are encouraged to step outside, listen for the new siren, and follow standard procedures by tuning to information on KLCB, or AM 530, for instructions and information and proceed as instructed, as if it were an actual emergency. More information is available at the Lincoln County Website (www.lincolncountymt.us) or the EMA’s website (www.lcema.yolasite.com ).

Education outreach on the Flower Creek Dam, the sirens, and warning system will start following the testing.
