Welch intends justifiable use of force defense

Kristina Welch, 52, who is facing a deliberate homicide charge for allegedly shooting her 50-year-old husband, Charles Bryan Welch, appeared in 19th District Court Tuesday. Welch presented the Court with a written notice of intent to introduce evidence of justifiable use of force in the incident.

Bond is $500,000. Trial is set for August.
