Spring break-up road closures announced

Did someone say Spring !!!???? Here is one sign. Not the robin's twitter, but road closures.

Beginning Monday, February 20, some roads will be closed to vehicles in excess of 10,000 lbs., due to spring breakup, says the Kootenai National Forest.

Those roads include The Wolf Creek Road #36 from MP 0 to MP 10.19, the junction of Syrup Redemption Road #2340. The Pipe Creek Road #68 from MP 6.9 to MP 16.8, the junction of Seventeen Mile Road #471. The Bear Creek Road #278 will be closed from MP 0 at Hwy 2 to MP 3, the junction of Cherry Creek Road #867.

The closures will continue until further notice. For more information call Libby District at 406-293-7773.
