Northwest CHC Fundraiser February 18 February 15, 2012 Preparations have gone underway for the Northwest Community Health Center (NWCHC) 3rd Annual Fundraiser on Saturday, February 18th. The event will be held at the Memorial Center in Libby, continuing the tradition of King Crab/Prime Rib Dinner. Tickets are $35.00/person. There will be food, games, a small silent auction, and some new surprises planned. All money raised will be used for their Specialty Voucher Program. The money for the program will be used for NWCHC patients who need treatment that they are unable to offer in house (eye exams, colonoscopy, MRI, dental, and others.) Unfortunately, due to the high cost of some of these procedures, patients go without them considering their inability to pay. All patients are eligible for the program, however it is the medical and dental providers who make the decision of who gets these vouchers. It is then taken to the NWCHC Chief Financial Officer who makes sure that the patient has not been placed in a collection status with the NWCHC, as that is the only rule that applies.
