Two dead in murder-suicide

This morning (Tuesday, January 3, 2012) about 6:28AM, Lincoln County Emergency Dispatch got a 911 call with the male caller saying he had just killed his wife, and was going to kill himself.

Libby Police and Lincoln County Sheriff's officers arrived on scene. Due to past law enforcement issues with the subjects, the surrounding residences were evacuated and contained for safety.

Based on prior law enforcement contact and information known to local law enforcement, Flathead County was asked to dispatch their special response team. Using Kalispell Police's armored response vehicle, the response team was able to gain visual access to several areas of the house and discovered the deceased bodies of the Dale Kinniburgh Jr, 51, and Catherine Kinniburgh, 55, his wife.
