Eureka area burglary includes an assault
Juvenile female home alone injured with undisclosed injuries

Monday, January 16th, at 3:16 pm, Eureka Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a burglary and assault had occurred at a residence off Sinclair Creek Road.

According to the caller, the owner's juvenile daughter was home alone during the break in and sustained undisclosed injuries and was transported to North Valley Hospital while deputies secured the scene.

Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies, Eureka PD and Eureka Ambulance and a Sheriff's Detective and Evidence Technician responded to the scene and initiated and investigation, which is ongoing.
