Attorney requests mental evaluation for man charged in daughter’s death James Bonifas charged with deliberate homicide shooting death of his daughter, Susan K Campbell by Duane Williams, KLCB-KTNY Radio January 31, 2012 A Troy man, 75-year-old James Bonifas, charged with the January 6 deliberate homicide in the shooting death of his daughter, Susan K Campbell, 41, will undergo a mental evaluation before more court proceedings. Bonifas appeared with attorney Monday morning in Lincoln County District Court. He did not enter a plea. His attorney requested Bonifas’ plea be continued until a mental evaluation has been completed in Missoula.
