On November 18, 2011, the employees at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital once again teamed up to support an important local not-for-profit organization. Kiwanis Koats for Kids was the recipient of $624 and numerous coats donated by the employees from their November jeans day fundraiser.
Kiwanis gives away 1000 coats to needy children every year, and in the past 10 years over 11,000 coats have been donated. "The employees of St. John’s Lutheran Hospital are thrilled to be able to donate this money and these coats to Kiwanis for their Koats for Kids program," stated KC Hoyer, Marketing Manager at St. John’s. "This is a wonderful program, and our employees are just happy to have the opportunity to give back to the communities that they serve."
