Public input sought about Asa Wood School

Here is your opportunity to weigh-in on the fate of the Asa Wood School.
The Libby school board is conducting an internet poll concerning what will be done with the now vacant former junior high/elementary building.
The survey seeks to determine if the building should be sold, leased, totally destroyed, have only the vermiculite affected portion removed leaving the gym, office, two-thirds of the classrooms and library area intact, be remodeled into another community or extracurricular activities center - or perhaps a swimming pool.
What is missing from the survey is the somewhat popular idea of converting the building to a senior assisted living facility with its close proximity to the shopping center and grocery store.
You can make you feelings known by going to the school district web site or if you do not have internet access, you may request a survey by mail by calling the schools at 406-293-8811. _____________________________________________
