Fire investigators have determined the fire that took the life of Collin Maclean, 84, of Eureka was an accident.

The incident occurred Monday, October 26th. Eureka area Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the scene to find the house fully involved and worked hard to suppress the blaze.

Maclean's wife, Sharon Delong, age 74, was at the residence at the time of the fire, but was able to escape without injury.
