Tuesday, October 25: Middle School/Libby Children's Select Choir concert 7:00 p.m. at the Memorial Center. Anyone who has been or is currently in the military is invited and encouraged to attend. The concert's theme is Patriotism and Peace. Free admission. Thursday, October 27th: High School Choir Festival (NWMCE; Northwest Montana Choral Express) concert 6:30 at the Memorial Center. This involves five high school choirs from Northwest Montana. Free admission. Thursday, November 3rd High School Choir Dinner/Concert 6:30 p.m. at the Memorial Center. Tickets are $10 per person and $5 for 5 yrs old and under (infants are free) Proceeds from this concert pay for the trip to Bozeman to tape for an upcoming PBS show. For more information contact Lorraine Braun 406-293-8802 Saturday November 19, 2011: "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" Benefit Concert Hosted by Faye Schoknecht and Phyllis Minde Mackay with the Libby Memorial Events Center. This concert features local area talents including Tony Smith, members of The Treasure Tones and other invited guests. The benefit will contribute to the medical funds for two young Libby students who are recuperating from separate medical challenges. Patrick Faulkner faces ongoing therapy for a traumatic brain injury received in a car accident while Sarah Kirschenmann suffers from a rare joint disease for which there is no cure.
