Montanore Mine SDEIS available soon by Duane Williams, KLCB-KTNY Radio September 8, 2011 The Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the Montanore Mine copper - silver deposit under the Cabinet Mountains went to print last week and should be available for public review by mid-September, maybe as early as this week. The comment period ends November 7th. The final statement is to be complete sometime next year, 2012. The Montanore Positive Action Committee has another rally planned on September 28th, 4:30 to 6pm at the Fireman Park. "We support Montanore...Do You?" signs and banners are available. Contact the Libby Chamber.
