Going to the Sun Rally car tour visits Libby

The Going to the Sun Rally car tour, dubbed the "The Million Dollar" car tour, stopped for lunch in Libby Monday, September 12th. The tour travels yearly around the state. Founded in Bozeman, Montana, the tour raises money for widows and children of fallen in the line of duty Montana Highway Patrol officers . There is a $5,000 entry fee to participate. The tour stopped at Fireman Park in Libby for a lunch of "trash can chicken" prepared by the Libby Igniter's Car Club. In six years of charitable giving, The Going To The Sun Rally has given more than $320,000.00. _____________________________________________
