Jay Sheffield engages a "charging lion" with his .450 Nitro Express double rifle and Don Clark obliterates a gallon jug of water with his .416 Remington during a recent "Big Bore Safari Challenge" rifle shoot at the Libby range off Farm to Market Road. The shoot was open to rifles .375 caliber and larger and featured scenarios modeled after real-life situations that might be faced by a hunter in Africa.
