Libby High School graduated 113 seniors Monday afternoon,
turning the Class of 2011 loose in the world and being
challenged to make it better. Commencement speaker Gene
Reckin, a gifted high school biology teacher, addressed the
students with hopes that they would make a difference and
right the past mistakes of the previous generation. Class
valedictorians were Garrett Craig and Jaime Gilden,
salutatorians were Cree Maloney and Daniel Webster, and class
president was Taylor Barton (pictured with teacher Gene
Reckin, school board chairwoman Tracy Comeau, superintendent
Kirby Maki and principal Rik Rewerts).
