Hospital Jeans Day helps Libby Volunteer Fire Department
by St. John’s Lutheran Hospital
June 9, 2011
On Friday, May 27th, the employees at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital donated their money for a chance to wear blue jeans on work. This month, the donations went to support the Libby Volunteer Fire Department. The employees donated a total of $332.00, the total was then matched by St. John’s Lutheran Hospital for a total donation of $664.00.
"Once again the employees of St. John’s Lutheran Hospital have really stepped up to the plate to support other local not-for-profits. There aren’t words to explain how proud it makes me that they continue to give back to the community month after month for our various jeans days," commented KC Hoyer, Marketing Manager at St. John’s. "The money raised by these jeans days always goes to support a worthy local not-for-profit organization, and the Libby Volunteer Fire Department is no exception. We are very fortunate to have such a skilled Fire Department in our community, and know just how vital they are to the health and well being of us all. St. John’s and its employees are happy to be able to thank them for all that they do."
