Corps to hold informational meetings on 2011 Libby Dam operations

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold informational meetings regarding projected 2011 Libby Dam operations in Bonners Ferry on Monday, May 9, at 7 p.m. at the Kootenai River Inn, and on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the Ponderosa Room at Libby City Hall. Libby Agenda
Agency representatives will present information on Libby Dam operations for 2011, including an update on current water conditions, hydrological forecast, and operations for fish. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about -- and ask questions about -- operations at Libby Dam as they relate to local and regional issues.
Libby Dam is a multi-purpose water resource developed for flood risk management, hydropower, fish and wildlife, and recreation.
