St. John’s employees donate to traumatic brain injury support group
by St. John’s Lutheran Hospital
April 1, 2011
The month of March has been designated Brain Injury Awareness Month, a critical time when the Brain Injury Association of America and its partners strive to build public awareness and education. This is an international campaign dedicated to advancing public awareness about the progress and benefits of brain research, and the employees at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital wanted to do their part to help by participating in a Jeans Day Fundraiser to benefit the North Valley Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group. They raised $305.00 on Friday March 25, 2011, an amount which was matched by St. John’s Lutheran Hospital for a total donation of $610.00. For a donation to the TBI Support Group, the employees received the opportunity to wear jeans to work, and to support this worthy cause.
