Auxiliary donates $12,570 to St. John’s hospital
by St. John’s Lutheran Hospital
March 25, 2011
The goal of the St. John’s Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary is to support St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby with their time, talent, and the purchase of equipment. Something they did with amazing spirit and in full force in fiscal year 2010 by donating 5,182 hours of service and purchasing hospital equipment totaling $12,570.
Already, this year, the Auxiliary has stepped up to the plate again in support of St. John’s Lutheran Hospital, and in turn, the people of Lincoln County. In March, the Auxiliary presented the hospital with a check for $9,400. This money will be used for the purchase of a chemotherapy patient chair, a blood pressure monitor, an oxygen saturation monitor, and to help in the purchase of a baby warmer for the nursery.
"We are proud of the work we do, and are always happy to help St. John’s Lutheran Hospital purchase new equipment so that they have the tools that they need to continue to provide healthcare services to our area," stated Jan Kendall, SJLH Auxiliary President.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the SJLH Auxiliary, please contact the auxiliary by leaving your name and number at the gift shop in the hospital.
