Voting for the Pepsi Refresh Project is continuing through December
by U Serve Libby, Inc.
December 2, 2010
U Serve Libby, Inc. has been in the running since August for a $25,000 grant from Pepsi to finish the Libby Community Tennis Courts. Voters have kept the project high enough in the rankings every month to allow it another chance to make it to the top 10 and thereby win the grant. Libby deserves credit for keeping this project in the top 100. That’s not easy to do. We have watched over the past months as projects in Missoula, Billings, Kalispell and Brooklyn, NY, to name just a few, have been eliminated. Yet Libby continued on. As of December 1st, the project was #23 and the top 10 is within sight! You are asked to vote daily online and by texting, if you have that ability. Standard text messaging charges will apply but there are no additional charges.
Go to www.refresheverything.com/libbytenniscourts, sign in and click VOTE FOR THIS IDEA.
Then text a vote also. Text 101307 to Pepsi (73774).
Voting daily is important just to maintain a ranking that consistently moves toward the goal. Equally important is spreading the word. We all have friends and family who live outside the Libby area, even out of state. Those are the people we need to reach now. If they will vote for this project and spread the word to their friends and family, we will have the broad support that we need to win this. Facebook is recommended by Pepsi as a networking tool. U Serve Libby, Inc. is on Facebook and anyone on Facebook can become a fan. Updates and announcements will be posted there and you can repost those to your Facebook.
Consider sending brief voting instructions in your Christmas cards. Your friends and family will be likely to vote for a project that will benefit your community – if you ask! Business card-size voting instructions are available and can be e-mailed to you to print and use. E-mail U Serve Libby at uservelibby@frontiernet.net to request a copy. Call Laurie at 406-293-8260 if you have any questions or are having difficulty voting. Your support is appreciated!
