‘Meet the Candidates’ in Libby Oct. 19

The Libby, Montana Chapter of the Society of American Foresters will host a public meeting with local candidates on Tuesday, October 19th, in the Ponderosa Room of Libby City Hall, 952 E. Spruce Street, from 7:00 to 9:30 PM.
The Libby, Montana Chapter of the society of American Foresters (SAF) will be hosting a public meeting with our local commissioner, state senator, and state representative candidates. This meeting will be an opportunity for the candidates to answer questions on important local issues such as:
- Multiple use management - Management of all local lands for wood supply - Additional wilderness on the Kootenai National Forest - Public access for motorized/non-motorized recreation - Local mining opportunities - Oversight of the EPA clean-up activities in Lincoln County - RAC projects
