Two Rivers Rendezvous 2010
August 15, 2010

The 2010 Two Rivers Rendezvous was held over the weekend at Fawn Creek campground, with about 100 people coming from around the northwest to participate in an event reminiscent of the 1800s fur trade era. The family-friendly rendezvous, hosted by the Kootenai Muzzleloaders, features a weekend of socializing and friendly competition with muzzleloaders, 'hawks and knives. Authentic clothing and equipment of the period are featured. For more information about the Two Rivers Rendezvous, visit Two Rivers Rendezvous.

Army officers supplied their own mess chest, and the higher their rank, the more extensive their kitchen gear. Assorted cooking vessels and a forged iron trivet for the coffee pot are items the enlisted soldiers would not have.
