Relay For Life 2010
August 7, 2010
The fourth annual Relay For Life was held Friday evening and into Saturday morning at Asa Wood School. The annual American Cancer Society event is held in Libby and across the country to raise money in the battle against cancer. Money raised is used to fund research, legislative advocacy and educational programs, and local quality of life programs such as Look Good...Feel Better, Road to Recovery and the Patient Lodging Program. The ACS funded $1.65 million in research grants in Montana last year and has invested more than $3.5 billion in cancer research since 1946.
