June 21, 2010 Luke Burgess from Spokane was one of about 140 players in Troy over the weekend to participate in the fifth annual Timber Beast Disc Golf Tournament. The tournament is gaining in popularity and is now sanctioned by the Professional Disc Golf Association. Fortunately, it was a beautiful sunny day Saturday for the golfers (and then the rain came Sunday). For more information about area disc golfing, visit gardencityflyers.org. |
