FWP seeking comments for McGregor Lake Fuels Reduction Project by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks May 4, 2010 Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), Region One, is seeking comment on a draft environmental assessment (EA) for the purpose of conducting fuels reduction work, similar to the 2007 McGregor fuels reduction project, on four timbered parcels of department-owned lands on McGregor Lake in Flathead County. The draft is out for a two-week public review through Monday, May 10, 2010. If requested within the comment period, the department may arrange a public meeting. Copies of the draft are available at Fish, Wildlife & Parks, 490 N. Meridian Rd., Kalispell; Montana State Library, 1515 E 6th Ave., Helena; Flathead County Library, 247 1st Ave. E, Kalispell; and the FWP web site at fwp.mt.gov under public notices.
