McGregor Lake Fish Derby

Over 600 ice fishing enthusiasts took part in McGregor Lake's fish derby over the weekend. The annual derby, sponsored by McGregor Lake Resort, offers prizes and awards for the largest rainbow and lake trout, a special children's division, and door prizes. Live music Saturday night and B98 radio DJs were also featured this year. Another fish derby, the 1st Annual Fathers Day Family Fishing Festival, will be held over Fathers Day weekend, June 19-21, on the Thompson Chain of Lakes. Headquarters will be at Happy's Inn.
