Libby student receives UM scholarship

MISSOULA — Brenna Chvilicek of Libby has been awarded a $500 Montana German Heritage Scholarship from The University of Montana Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures.

Chvilicek is a UM junior majoring in English education. She is a 2007 graduate of Libby High School and the daughter of Mary and Joe Wood and Joel Chvilicek of Libby.

The scholarship was established at UM in 2008 with gifts from the Montana German Heritage Foundation.
