Koocanusa Reservoir inflow forecast 86% of average

The February 2010, April-August inflow forecast for Koocanusa Reservoir is 86% of average (5.478 MAF ~ million acre-feet) – down from 90% in January,103% in December, and 109% in November.
The end-of-February target reservoir elevation is 2436.4' (2459.00' is full pool); current elevation (February 5) is 2408.25'.
Koocanusa inflow since February 1 has been ~ 2.5 kcfs.
Projected flows for the remainder of February are minimum (~4 kcfs), with increases possible for cold snaps and other power emergencies.
