Libby Logger Soccer Girls take second in State Class A November 1, 2009 The Libby Loggers show their second place soccer state championship plaque Saturday after being defeated 4-2 by the Billings Central Rams. On a wet, slippery field, the Loggers had a strong first half, leading 1-0 at halftime with a goal by Anna Valentine. Chrissy Vennes scored Libby's second goal early in the second half. The game went into overtime with a score of 2-2. Billings scored a goal in each of the 10 minute overtime periods, giving a final score of 4-2 over Libby.
