Turner Ski & Snowboard Swap Oct. 17

Turner Mountain Ski Area is planning a Ski and Snowboard Swap on Saturday, October 17th between 9AM and 3PM at Asa Wood Gym in Libby. Anyone wishing to participate can register items for sale on Friday, October 16th between 5:30PM and 9:00 PM.
There will be a large inventory of new and used ski and snowboard equipment, winter clothing, camo jackets, pants, hats and packs.
New this year, alpine ski wholesalers will be attending with an extensive selection of new ski and snowboard equipment. FAS International will be here again this year with a large selection of winter clothing, helmets and camo gear.
Turner Ski area is located on the Kootenai National Forest just 22 miles northwest of Libby. Turner is open weekends and holidays during the winter ski season, typically late December through March, as conditions permit. It has one double chair lift which takes skiers to the top elevation of 5952 feet. Base lodge elevation is 3842 feet. It has 25 named runs, half of which are groomed. Sixty percent of the trails at the ski area are rated Black Diamond and 30 percent are More Difficult. Ten percent of the trails are rated Beginner. Full-day lift tickets are just $30 for an adult and $25 for Junior/Seniors.
