Nordicfest 2009

It was a beautiful weekend for the 25th anniversary of Libby's Nordicfest celebration. King and Queen Ardell and Sheryl Filler, Prince Levi Neubauer and Princess Aja Barnett, and Mr. and Mrs. Kootenai Knute Frank and Jenny Votapka reigned over the familiar activities that Nordicfest has to offer. These include the juried craft show, Kootenai Quilt Guild's quilt show, the Fjord horse show, Libby Fine Arts show, a hardanger show by the Thursday Thread Twisters, the youth runnerfell, Saturday morning's parade, a Kootenai Karacters play, free entertainment, and of course, the food! As a special way to recognize 25 years of Nordic celebrations, past royalty was available after the parade to share their experiences of earlier Nordicfests.
