Construction of Lincoln County Credit Union’s new building at the corner of Sixth Street and Commerce Way is moving along on schedule for completion by the end of November.
The 9,000 square foot building will have a community room so the credit union can offer financial education sessions to Lincoln County residents. There will also be a consumer resource area with two computers offering internet access.
"The building’s going to be great, and the contractors and everybody involved in the construction have been outstanding," said LCCU board chairman Bill Bischoff.
Construction began with ceremonial groundbreaking in March. Boulware Construction of Libby is managing the building project with a variety of local sub-contractors employed.
"It’s been great to see so many local people working," Bischoff said. ______________________________________
