‘Oliver!’ takes stage Aug 7-8

A month-long musical theater camp will come to fruition Friday and Saturday, Aug. 7-8, with Kootenai Heritage Council’s presentation of the musical "Oliver!" at the Memorial Center.
Shows are at 7 p.m. both nights. Tickets for adults are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Student tickets are $5 with children 6 and under free with a donation to the Libby Food Pantry.
Actors, set designers and stage managers have been working on the production since June 29. The theater camp was made possible by a grant from the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation, a partnership with Kiwanis and the dedication of educational enthusiasts including Libby Public Schools choir director Lorraine Braun.
