A little less than 15% of the registered voters in School District 4 turned out for the school board election Tuesday.
Incumbent, and former chairman of the board, Lee Disney was the highest vote getter, followed closely by Ellen Parker Johnson, and incumbent Bruce Sickler for the full-three year terms. Jeff Koskela ran a close fourth, 35 votes behind Sickler.
The top three, combined, took sixty-nine percent of the vote.
Former school board member and former chairman of the board Gary Huntsburger outdistanced Sarah Crace by only 61 votes to fill an unexpired term. __________________________________ Story by Duane Williams, KLCB 1230 AM Libby News Radio, www.todaysbestcountryonline.com.
