Fawn Creek Traditional Archery Shoot

Caston Savik gets help from his dad, Jared, at Libby Archery Club's 13th annual traditional shoot Saturday at Fawn Creek campground. Mom Charlotte timed the event. Caston cheerfully announced that he missed - several times -at the "gopher shoot" station. The Archery Club will host the Fisher River Shootout (formerly held at Pipe Creek) June 6-7, also at Fawn Creek campground.
And it's always a treat to see the arrowleaf balsamroot blooming, as it was along Highway 37 on the way to Fawn Creek. A sure sign that spring has finally arrived!
