Stimson Lumber cited Pays administrative fine for delinquent progress report by Duane Williams, KLCB 1230 AM Libby News Radio December 11, 2008 Stimson Lumber Company paid the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) administrative penalties totaling $480 to resolve violations of the Montana Opencut Mining Act. In an administrative enforcement action, the DEQ cited Stimson Lumber Company for failure to submit a 2007 annual progress report for their gravel pit operation in Lincoln County, Montana.
