Heather Henson has been convicted of mitigated attempted deliberate homicide in the shooting death of Larry Kingsley at the Sylvan Lake campground last July. The jury returned a not guilty verdict to the charge of Deliberate Homicide, but Henson was found guilty of attempted deliberate homicide in which the jury said Henson was acting under the influence of extreme mental or emotional stress for which there is a reasonable explanation or excuse. She was found not guilty of the charge of tampering with physical evidence by accountability and not guilty of theft. A sentencing date on the guilty verdict has not been released. _______________________________
