Two Kootenai roads closed for chip seal work

The Kootenai National Forest will be working on two roads beginning early next week. For safety, both roads will be closed during the project.

The Ross Creek Cedars Road (#398) will be closed for chip seal work on August 4 and 5 from the county road to the parking lot. The Pete Creek Road (#338) will be closed for chip seal work on August 5 and 6 from mile marker 5.25 to mile marker 11.6. The areas will be flagged and marked.

The work is anticipated to last only a couple of days for each site.
