Ben Graham Memorial Golf Tournament May 17-18

The 2008 Ben Graham Memorial Tournament will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18 at Cabinet View Country Club.
The golf tournament opens with an optional practice round on Friday, May 16, and a derby to follow at 6 p.m.
Saturday’s round will have tee times starting at 8 a.m. Players can arrange their own groups and tee times by calling or signing up at the golf course.
A dinner will be provided Saturday night at 6:30, followed by a live auction.
The final round will be Sunday with tee times starting at 8 a.m. Playing groups will be determined by players’ scores and flights from Saturday.
Entry fees are $50 for members and $70 for non-members. The payout will be based on the number of players in the tournament and will be in “Libby Bucks” to be used at any business that is a member of the Libby Area Chamber of Commerce, including CVCC.
There will also be a $100 award for closest to the pin on hole 7 during Saturday’s play, donated by Advantage Seal and Stripe.
This year there will again be a “Logger Legends” award for the lowest male and female former Logger golfers. Parents of past Logger golfers are invited to encourage their sons and daughters to come and play in the tournament that makes Libby High School golf possible.
The late Ben Graham was a 1973 graduate of Libby High School and an NCAA All-American for the golf team at California State University. Proceeds from the annual tournament help fund high school and youth golf in Libby. Time and money have been given by many local businesses and individuals in support of the tournament.
