One person died in an apartment fire in the early hours of Friday morning. Travis Anderson, 26, died in what fire officials say seems to have been an accidental fire.
Occupants of a second apartment located above a laundromat in South Libby, managed to escape. One man was admitted to St John's Hospital with broken bones from jumping from a balcony, and a woman and another man were treated and released.
The fire department says both apartments are a total loss.
The specific cause of the blaze remains under investigation by Libby fire officials. It took 25 firefighters several hours to suppress the fire. _____________________________________ Story by KLCB 1230 AM Libby News Radio, www.todaysbestcountryonline.com
