Aircraft flips on landing at Libby airport

An aircraft accident occurred at the Libby airport Saturday afternoon about 3:15 pm, according to the FAA.

A 1940 vintage Stinson 108 piloted by Jon Dunham of Libby flipped over while attempting a landing according the Federal Aviation Administration incident report.

Dunham reportedly received some injuries in the mishap, but the FAA Northwest Mountain Region Operations Center indicated that there was significant damage to the tail-wheel aircraft.
