No Democrats have filed for the soon-to-be open County Commissioners seat.
That means it will be six Republicans dukeing it out in the Primary, June 3rd.
Libby Mayor, Tony Berget; chiropractor Don Cox; entrepreneur and School Board member Lee Disney; developer Mike Munro; forester Jerry Okonski; and contractor Dennis Souther.
Most significantly, it means the County Commissioner's seat will be decided in the Primary.
In the District One House race Democrat Eileen Carney will face Republicans Susan Ague, Jerry Bennett, Ginny Emerson, Albert Purviance, and Constitution candidate Freeman Johnson.
In House District Two incumbent Republican Chas Vincent is opposed by Tim Linehan of Troy.
The filing deadline was March 20th. _______________________________
