Snow Removal - Again

More snow on the way City crews have been working hard all winter to keep the streets clear of snow. This crew was working on Mineral Avenue on Monday. City Supervisor Dan Thede reports that to date, over 900 dump truck loads of snow have been hauled from city streets. A heavy snow warning has been issued from the National Weather Service from 8:00 p.m. Wednesday until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, with 8 to 14 inches forecast and local amounts up to 18 inches. Areas impacted include the U.S. Highway 2 corridor between Libby and the Idaho state line, Highway 35 between Libby and Rexford, and the Yaak.
