February is The American Heart Association’s National Go Red for Women Month, and St. John’s Lutheran Hospital employees kicked it off right!
The AHA holds “Go Red For Women” events all over the country in an effort to raise awareness about the leading cause of death among American Women: Heart Disease.
The employees at St. John’s Hospital raised $350.00 at their Jean’s Day Fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008. For a donation to the American Heart Association, employees at the hospital received the opportunity to wears jeans to work and each employee received a “Go Red For Women” pin.
