City declares Snow Emergency
Levies a 2 mil emergency tax for additional cost of snow removal

The Libby City Council has declared a snow emergency due to the heavy snowfall blanketing the area. And there is more on the way!

The declaration provides for a 2 mil emergency levy on all City of Libby residents to help address the additional cost burden of dealing with the snow and its removal.

The levy will result in less than $6000. It will be collected in 2009.
