X-C Grooming Report: Sunday, Jan 13

Sunday, January 13, 8:24 AM Nordic ski trail grooming report: Warmer temperatures yesterday changed our silky fluffy new snow to clumpy heavy stuff. When that freezes overnight it makes for edge-catching crust. It looks like it is cold enough this AM that I will be able to groom and remove some of the crust and turn it into some turnable sugar. I will go out about 10 AM and hopefully be done by 1-2 PM. It should be best while I am grooming and for the next several hours after grooming. Plan is to try to do some grooming Tuesday and Thursday AM as well, maybe Friday, and very likely this Saturday as well.
