South Flower X-C Ski Grooming Update

I groomed this evening in ideal conditions: 26 degrees F, 6" new powder (not sticky) and skies partially clear at first, then a few snow flakes when done. The road is in good shape. All loops (8 km total) are groomed for both Classic and Skate. I have decided not to groom a skate lane above Jabber Jct due to snowmobile traffic but there is a nice classic lane all the way to the end of Treasure Tour and the snowmobilers are staying off of it. Shorty's is double tracked for classic in anticipation of the skiing on Saturday night.
If we do not get too much snow tonight (forecast is for little accumulation), it should be good skiing in the morning. Present forecast calls for a brief warming spell with possibility of mixed snow and rain Fri am to early pm on Sat.
We are planning on having night skiing on the play hill and Shorty's Loop Saturday 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
